From the whole plant ...

Novéal's business largely depends on our expertise in the field of plants which constitutes the foundation stone of our activities. The same is true for our supplier, the German Martin Bauer Group who are the world's leading experts in plant-derived products for pharmaceutical and dietary applications. Thus, our domains of expertise complement one another.

Through the Martin Bauer Group, we have access to a genuine "plant emporium" with 1,000 tonnes of material in stock and a catalogue of 600 different medicinal plants; some of these come from local plants, others from plants grown elsewhere in France and others still might come from any of 50 different countries.

Almost all these materials are delivered as the whole plant to facilitate botanical identification (a systematic step) before being converted into powder or liquid form at the Valanjou site in workshops which are subject to pharmaceutical production guidelines (Good Manufacturing Practices).

The priority when working with natural products is to preserve their activities and scents throughout the various stages of processing. We are always vigilant about conserving all of a plant's intrinsic virtues in order to guarantee our customers the kind of top quality material that they need.

Raw materials are all tested for novéal in accordance with in-house or official Monographs (e.g. those of the Eur. Ph., Ph. Fr. DAB, DAC, AFNOR).

With the regulations pertaining to foodstuffs and dietary supplements becoming ever more complicated, every ingredient has to be passed by our laboratories, a procedure which guarantees both the source of the product and its quality (GMO-free, specified equipment and degree of risk, specific regulations, etc.).
